چکیده

To maintain an immunological balance and intact skin barrier a number of highly specialized immune cells shape anti-inflammatory pro-type 2 environment that can rapidly expel entrap multicellular pathogens, neutralize toxins support wound healing. Previous research has shown KLF4-expressing dendritic are drivers enhanced type immunity responsive the TSLP 1 interferon signaling. Single-cell profiling in healthy murine showed KLF4-expression was required by unique population dermal expressed low levels CD11c CD11b. Transcriptomic revealed this also displayed STAT6 associated gene signature not found other populations or tissues. In vivo, CD11b-low were absent from STAT6-KO mice, indicating localized activation. Analysis human cytokine production innate lymphoid cells, Dendritic Epidermal T Cells memory cells. skin, IL-13, but IL-4, necessary sufficient for development absence IL-13 signaling, stable continued to take up antigen, remained CD11b-hi. CD11b-hi furthermore defective activation response parasite antigens diminished ability IL-4+ GATA3+ Th2 cell differentiation. Low therefore play important role inducing reprogramming generation environment, which protects against pathogens might lead allergies.

IL-25 and IL-33 Serum Levels are not Associated with the Type of Allergen Causing Allergic Rhinitis

Background: Fungal aeroallergens might sensitize the airway which in turn produces a specific cytokine profile. Objective: To evaluate the IL-25 and IL-33 profile in patients with fungal allergic rhinitis. Methods: The present study examined patients who were evaluated due to allergic rhinitis (AR) at Emam Reza Hospital of Shiraz, Iran. The all...

IL-13 regulates the immune response to inhaled antigens.

The large inhibitory effect of IL-13 blockers on the asthma phenotype prompted us to ask whether IL-13 would play a role in regulating the allergic immune response in addition to its documented effects on structural pulmonary cells. Because IL-13 does not interact with murine T or B cells, but with monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells (DCs), we examined the role of IL-13 in the activatio...

Low Serum Levels of 25-Hydroxyvitamin D in Association with Type 2 Diabetes in Indian Patients

Objective: Vitamin D deficiency is a common disorder worldwide and is indicated by low serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels. Recent studies have suggested an association of 25-hydroxyvitamin D deficiency with diabetes mellitus. The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between 25-hydroxyvitamin D concentration and type 2 diabetes in South Indian patients. Materials and Methods...

Microbiome alterations are related to an imbalance of immune response and bacterial translocation in BDL-rats

Objective(s): Bacterial translocation in patients with cirrhosis is an important triggering factor for infections and mortality. In the bile duct ligation (BDL) model, crucial players of bacterial translocation are still unknown. This study aims to determine the interrelation between microbiome composition in the colon, mesenteric lymph nodes, and liver, as well as the...
